Norwegian developers took over Oslo last Saturday, kicking-off with a developer jam competition organised by the Norwegian Producers’ Association, followed by Nordic Game’s own NGDC Season IV qualifier at NFI’s NM i Gameplay event and concluding with the annual Spilprisen award show.
The Nordic Game Discovery Contest qualifier took place in front of a very enthusiastic audience at Filmhuset in central Oslo, with NGDC judges Natascha Roeoesli (Funcom), Jarle Hrafn Grindhaug (Pressfire) and Simon Løvind (DFI) roasting the contestants with some great questions.
After the last round it was clear though that Norwegian studio Loeding would take the top spot with SNOW, their narrative adventure game set in a retro-futuristic Norway, thirty years in the future.
